Were not a fan of RV resorts but this one is the exception. They have tent camping in the back down the hill next to a small creek. Your view is of small rocky hill past the creek. Each site has a table, fire ring and small shade/rain canopy. The grass is very nice and soft and this is the first place we have been where you don’t have to wear shoes around camp.
The amenities include a showers, heated pool, hut tub, game room with pool table, laundry and FREE WI-fi that’s pretty decent. I was able to upload videos no problem. The downside is it’s off I-80 so even though you are in the back you can still hear the road if you are in a tent. We couldn’t hear it from inside the van so this was perfect.
Oh and the rate is only $20! The national forest campgrounds with no water or anything are $23. Sure you get a more remote location but they are all still off a small 2 lane road. Probably not much noise at night but you will hear cars all day as they go in and out of the canyons here. If you are trying to get away from it all for the weekend and hike then those might be a great option. If you want to bike some of the epic trails in Park City then this place is minutes away and a great option.
Hit the trails, then relax in the pool and hot tub!
