Adding in the Electronics

So our adventures are going to be many and grand but there is going to be plenty of time to relax and then there will be those days we’re stuck inside with bad weather.  I found a Jensen Radio and DVD player to build into the cabinets.  I also incorporated the XM unit from my old Tundra.  I hate commercials and know that there aren’t many good radio stations out there, especially in the middle of nowhere.

I bought a mount that allows me to fold the TV all the way out so we can sit outside and watch it as well.  We put in a 28″ Vizio Smart TV. I also have Toshiba 500GB hard drive with movies and shows downloaded onto it as well as a “box” to stream anything else I might be interested in.  We have a mifi card in the van but this is only used to stream movies when there is free wi-fi. Otherwise that will kill our data plan.

I installed Pyle waterproof speakers inside and outside the van.  They are controlled by a selector switch on the radio. On the outside I also installed an exterior plug in case there are some electrical needs.  Crock pot with some yummy tailgating or post river food you say?
