Adventure Video Series
is a Rare Find indeed. The amount of work that goes into these trails is unbelievable for a free trail system on private land maintained by the WMBC. So buy a map at the local bike shop or download it onto your phone to help support the club. The map is very helpful and the local shops are awesome at ride suggestions. At this trial system everything has to be earned though as you start at the bottom and ride up.
On the South Side your choices to the top are a fire road which is easier and quicker but in the sun or the wooded single track of 3 Pigs to the fire road. The South Side seems more popular by far and has access to a larger variety of DH only Trails.
The North Side is accessed by a single track mesh of several trails to the top. Most places here are signed but not as prominent as the the south Side. SST is the long DH trail on this side of the mountain. Worth the ride!
On the south side there is a very small private owner place to camp. This is right at the mobile bike shop in the “Dollar Lot”. It’s $1 to park here for the day if you don’t want to park on the main road about a 1/2 mile further. It’s $5-$15 cash to camp and has a porta potty. Very quiet at night, busy during the day. This is a popular place but a great place to base out of when riding here.
Showers & Lake
Lake Padden is about a mile down the road from the South Side and free to enter. Bring your paddle board, puppy or anything else that you want to get wet, jump in and chill out. They have old school gym showers at the West Entrance so if you’re not shy you can grab a free shower here as well.
You didn’t think we would leave this out did you? We found an amazing brewery here called “MELVIN”. They have some of the best Double IPAs you’ll ever have. Boundary Bay is also located here in town with some really tasty beers and live music on weekends. Both are worth a stop while visiting the awesome town of Bellingham, WA. Check out their Happy Hours!
Mister Lost Bike Shop Located in the Dollar Lot on site fixes
Fanatik Bike Co They have an amazing section of bikes, gear, and clothes! They also serve $2 beers while you get your bike fixed! A big supporter of the trails and new PUMP TRACK!
