Enjoy some free dispersed camping on BLM land just outside Goblin Valley State Park boundaries near Green River, Utah. The views are amazing. You do need to  carry a self-contained toilet.  Carry out all trash and toilet paper, there is nothing worse than viewing the remains of used toilet paper. The camping will be on your left just outside the park boundary.

How to Get There

The camping is located between the towns of Green River and Hanksville Utah. From Green River, Utah follow I-70 west for 11 miles to exit #149 and Highway 24. Follow highway 24 south for 24 miles to the signed turn off for Goblin Valley State Park. Follow the signs to Goblin Valley State Park.Turn right onto Wild Horse Road (1013) it is a  signed turn-off to Little Wild Horse Canyon. The turn is located 11 miles from Highway 24 and 2 miles south of the Goblin Valley State Park entrance station. Follow the dirt road for 3 miles outside the Goblin Valley State park boundary to the BLM land. From here there is endless camping opportunities, some of the best is on the left hand side of the road.

Get there during the daytime to male finding the best spot a breeze.
